Pico do Arieiro is the third highest peak on Madeira island! Pico Ruivo is the highest peak at 1892 m, followed by Pico das Torres at 1851 meters high. You can reach it by car and is totally worth your visit! If you don’t believe me check out the stunning photographs above.
In the Winter the inhabitants of the island are surprised with snow (when I was there last month there was no snow =/).
